Digital Case Study

We designed an e-commerce website for Liverpool's huge charity event through the Mersey Tunnel, the 27th Liverpool Chester Liverpool Bike Ride. The event is in association with Mersey Travel and Claire's House.

The Challenge

Project Scope

Liverpool Chester Liverpool Bike Ride had used an external ticketing website to sell their event for years. However, they had decided to develop their own platform to save on 3rd party fees and protect their data. In its 27th year, the event was in need of modernisation through a rebrand and new digital assets. We were tasked with creating a new logo, brand and e-commerce website that would stay true to the heart of the event and appeal to both cycling enthusiasts and family friendly audiences.

The Solution

Project Delivery

Our team created wonderful new brand guidelines, including a clever vector logo and a vibrant colour palette that catches the eye by contrasting on greyscale images and dark tonnes. For the website platform, we developed a simple, user-friendly registration process that captured each attendees details and attached them to email tickets. The website has an app that allows ‘on the day’ check-ins for registration and a database for the on the ground team to pull emergency contact details instantly. We are responsibly for hosting, security and website management on this project for the foreseeable future.

The Feedback

"Digital Division have proven to be extraordinary experts in bringing our ideas to life and always finds a way to make things happen in the best manner possible. Sean, the Director, always goes the extra mile and we cannot recommend him and his company enough.  We started our project with just an idea of what we'd like to achieve and Digital Division had the expertise and vision to enable this project to become a reality."
